Boys' Golf 2016

The boys golf team had a great day on Friday, finishing in 3rd place (out of 10) at Districts. The Rebels were led by Elijah Lamoureux with the lowest score of the day (73), 2 over par. The other Rebels all put in their personal bests, totaling 333. The other boys’ scores were Trevor Roarson (84), Jacob Miller (87), Lucas Copple (89), Zach Allen (93), and JT Gengler (99).  Elijah will advance to the STATE TOURNAMENT as one of the top eight individuals from districts. The State tournament is this Friday and Saturday @ Marshalltown, IA. Good luck Elijah! Great season by all Rebel golfers!

The Westwood JV Boys golfers ended up 6th yesterday at their conference meet in Anthon. Scores were Jaxon Lutt (50), JT Gengler (51), Richard Dandurand (57), Dillion LaBrune (64), Layton Harvey (69), Dustin Bainbridge (72). The JV will play again on Monday at Moville. Good luck guys!

The Westwood Boys golfers ended up 4th yesterday at Kingsley yesterday. The Rebels were led by Elijah Lamoureux, shooting a 41 and ending up 2nd in the entire tournament. The Rebels next meet is at Moville on Saturday. Good luck!  ~ Coach Tower
